The Role

Both a leader and a producer, the VP of Sales will lead and accelerate revenue development and growth across both the Company’s legacy enterprise solution as well as its direct S/MME solution. They will oversee all aspects of this function, including optimizing the existing strategy and processes, developing the team, managing the budget, executing the strategy, and measuring the results.

The VP will also work hand and hand with customer success, growth marketing, product marketing, product management, engineering and executives to achieve established targets and ensure alignment between partner growth initiatives and company strategy, product roadmap, and strategic initiatives.

This role reports directly to the CEO and can be based anywhere in the US (East Coast preferred). 

The Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving growth and exceeding quotas
  • 5+ years of senior sales management experience
  • Proven success driving significant (50% YoY) top-line growth in early-stage organizations
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience building out a sales framework
  • Ability to operate in an environment of uncertainty with conviction and urgency
  • Entrepreneurial attitude; you get the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities
  • Proven ability of selling to/through brokers and consultants or experience in employee benefit / voluntary benefits sales a plus

Your Responsibilities at Questis

  • Own and drive top-line revenue growth through hands-on new logo acquisition
  • Establish and leverage relationships with Benefit Brokerages (focus on National Accounts) 
  • Manage all aspects of the Sales process including prospect generation & qualification, coordinate and lead meetings with prospects and brokers, presentation, proposal generation, negotiation & contracting.
  • Maintain account & opportunity status in CRM (Hubspot) and ensure accurate opportunity forecasting.
  • Develop and communicate pipeline health and deal health through quantitative, metrics-based approaches
